Our team represented the Alzheimer’s Association at Foxborough Founders Day, sharing information about Alzheimer’s, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, and Storykeepers.

What an incredible day at Foxborough Founders Day! From setting up at 7:30 AM to wrapping up in the afternoon, our team was honored to represent the Alzheimer's Association and spend the day connecting with members of our community.
Throughout the event, we shared information about Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, the Walk to End Alzheimer's, and Storykeepers' mission to preserve the stories that shape our communities. It was inspiring to meet so many individuals and families, hear why this cause matters to them, and witness conversations spanning generations. Some visitors shared memories of loved ones they had lost to Alzheimer's, while others introduced younger family members to the importance of remembering those stories. These moments served as a powerful reminder of why awareness, connection, and preserving memories matter.
Visitors enjoyed stopping by our table for bracelets, stickers, pins, and other giveaways, while our raffle brought even more excitement throughout the day. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised $132 through raffle ticket sales, with 203 tickets entered into the drawing. Congratulations again to Jess, our raffle winner!
We are incredibly grateful to the Alzheimer's Association and the Walk to End Alzheimer's team for inviting us to be part of this event and for their continued support of Storykeepers. A special thank you to Diana for her generosity with supplies, helping coordinate our table, and making the day run so smoothly.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, asked questions, shared their experiences, and supported our fundraiser. Days like Foxborough Founders Day remind us that preserving memories and raising awareness are community efforts, and we're grateful to be part of a mission that brings people together in such a meaningful way.
